The Mission of the Jericho Arts Council is " to maintain, manage and market the Bainbridge NY Town Hall Theatre and the           Art Gallery as a center for live performance, visual and creative arts events for the cultural enrichment of the region."

Established in 1976, the Jericho Arts Council is an all-volunteer 501-C-3 arts organization located in Bainbridge, NY, and based in a century-old building that houses one of the few remaining proscenium theaters in the area, lovingly restored to it's original elegance.
The Town Hall Theatre is home to a fully restored 1933 Æolian Skinner Pipe Organ. Organ music is enjoyed prior to the concerts at the Theatre as well as special events like silent movies, making this a truly unique venue for the live, family-oriented programs and performances that the JAC brings in..
Our season runs from September to May each year, and our Town Hall Opry series brings in the very best in bluegrass music. We also present other musical genres in diverse styles, and live theater performances produced by the Out of the Woodwork Players.  This season offerings range from Country Rock, to Doo-Wop! Whether it's music, theatre, or art, our programming is always family-friendly.  Delicious home-baked goodies are served at every event, so save room for dessert - coffee, tea, soda, and our delicious Town Hall Theatre popcorn, popped in our vintage 1940's popcorn machine, and served with real butter! .
In addition to the musical and theater performances, we are also fortunate to have an outstanding gallery space adjacent to the theater.  Our gallery committee presents One-Night-Only art shows in conjunction with performances, as well as a Holiday Craft Show, a Fine Art show, and Student Art shows.
