Alec James is a folk musician from the Midwest.  With acoustic guitar,

I've been a local area musician for over 40 years and have performed in bands, duos, and solo, currently performing on a regular basis with "Iron Mountain" as a singer, guitarist, and 5 string banjo picker. I also play with the "Delaware Dulcimores" as their guitar accompanist, including  occasional banjo work. My music ranges over a hundred year span from the 1860's to the 1970's including, but not always limited to, the following categories: Folk, Old Timey, Country, Bluegrass, Cowboy, and Rock n' Roll (old, like me).

Get back to the roots of Rock & Roll with a Tribute to Elvis recreated by Arik McKown.  For over 20 years he’s been keeping “The King’s” legend alive with his dynamic performances.  And did you know, right here in Bainbridge, Elvis has NOT left the building?  He’s our Town Clerk!

Joe is a self taught musician (singer/guitarist) who's been popular in the area for over 40 years.  His venues include Chenango Memorial Hospital, NBT Bank, the NYS Vet's Home and private parties.  Joe and Barbara (accompanying on vocals and piano)  invite audience participation and Joe is happy to honor requests, as possible.  His warm personal style is also very appealing to children, with whom he readily connects.

We started out as friends playing a few tunes.  Eventually we shared our original materials... offerings of songs woven in the wires of our experience in living this life.  Coupled with covers of other's songs we love, we share a wide palette of musical colors.  You never know what might be coming next...

Local Seisiún
is a group of friends who share a love of traditional Irish dance music, slow airs, and an occasional song or story, enjoying a casual session together of social music and humor several times a month for nearly 12 years so far.  Local Seisiún Trio -- Jean Withrow on concertina, Kathy Shimberg on fiddle, and Jim Haggerty on whistle and wooden flute --  also play these musical delights in various public and private settings, at parties, weddings, farmers' markets, community and county fairs, restaurants, art gallery exhibit receptions, seasonal celebrations, and other occasions around Delaware, Otsego, and Chenango Counties.  We particularly enjoy sharing in community events such as JAC’s Regatta Row Street Art Fest, and welcome spontaneous dancing by listeners and passers-by!

Smoketown
dennisthompson79@gmail.com

Composed of two brothers, Smoketown presents their own take on Irish, folk and American roots music (and whatever else might sound like a good idea at the time).
With O'Connor, Carey, Riley and Shea ancestry, brothers Dennis and Jim Thompson (and occasional guests) form this group.
Dennis has been singing and playing guitar for many years at various sessions, festivals, and pubs both in Ireland and the US.  Jim has been playing and teaching drums and percussion since he was a teen (he really is old now, to that's a lot of years).  He has played everything from folk to rock and jazz, and has been playing bodhran in local Irish Trad sessions since 2004.  The brother's lives and music have been deeply influenced by their mother Johanna O'Connor who immigrated from County Kerry in 1946.  She was the backbone of their family and the wellspring of their music.

So if its songs and 'chunes from Americay or lands across the sea that you're wantin', then spend some time with SMOKETOWN !

Uncleshake has an eclectic style of acoustic we like to call rag-rock.  Some of our songs tell fantastic tales and others are just skewed observations, but they all make us happy.
